Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the chopped apples with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl. Stir until the apple pieces are evenly coated.
Roll out the pie crusts on a flat surface. Spread the apple mixture over one crust in an even layer, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Place the second crust on top and press the edges gently to seal. Cut into strips about 1 inch wide to create fry shapes.
Brush the top of each fry with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the top with the additional sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place the fries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftover Apple Pie Fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
