Notes

This cake pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. It can also be served alongside a fruit salad. To elevate this recipe, consider using dark chocolate cake mix for an even richer flavor. If you're looking to reduce sugar, you can cut back on the powdered sugar or use a sugar substitute. Ensure you don’t overbake it; the gooey center is where the magic happens! Store any leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze it for up to two months.
