Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices bread (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened For grilling

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and fully cooked. Break it apart as it cooks and season it with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread generously. This will give your sandwich that perfect golden brown crust!
  • On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, place a generous portion of the cooked ground beef.
  • Lay the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and carefully place the sandwiches in the pan. Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Gently press down on the sandwiches for even grilling.
  • Once both sides are golden and the cheese (if your recipe includes it) is melted, remove from heat, slice, and serve hot!

Notes

Pair with crispy French fries or a fresh side salad. A classic tomato soup makes a perfect complement. Consider using different cheeses for a unique flavor.
