Ingredients

Fruit Base

  • 2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped Ensure peaches are ripe for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup white sugar Adjust sweetness based on preference.

Cream Mixture

  • 1 pint half-and-half cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Consider using almond extract for variation.
  • 2 cups whole milk Add as needed to reach fill line of ice cream maker.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Dice the peaches and mix them with sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for 10–15 minutes to release their juices.
  • In a large bowl, combine the half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Stir in the peaches and their juices.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker’s container. Add enough whole milk to reach the fill line (about 2 cups).

Freezing

  • Follow your ice cream maker’s instructions to freeze the mixture until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  • For quicker freezing, chill the container before adding the mixture. Serve immediately or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm.

Notes

Store homemade ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2-4 weeks. Let sit for a few minutes before scooping for easier serving. Tips for best results include chilling the ice cream maker bowl for at least 24 hours before use.
