Taco Ingredients

  • 1 can pizza dough (15 ounces)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Store-bought pizza sauce can be used for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese Mozzarella is traditional, but other cheeses can be used.
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni Feel free to substitute with your favorite toppings.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 4-6 pieces taco shells Use your preferred taco shell.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Lightly spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Unroll the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet and stretch it out evenly.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add the chopped pepperoni, green bell pepper, onion, and parsley.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Cut the pizza into squares or strips for serving.
  • Serve the pizza squares with taco shells for everyone to build their own tacos.

Notes

Customize toppings based on preferences; avoid overbaking to maintain a crispy texture. For leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
