Meatloaf Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Use 80/20 for juiciness.
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers Any color bell pepper works.
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Shredded Provolone Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or cheddar.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing vegetables.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft (5–7 minutes). Let cool slightly.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, sautéed veggies, salt, and pepper. Combine just until mixed.
  • Transfer mixture into prepared loaf pan. Shape into a loaf.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Top with provolone cheese for the last 10 minutes of baking until melted and bubbly.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, wrap slices individually and freeze for up to 3 months.
