Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups heavy cream Use high-quality for a creamier texture.
  • 1 cup whole milk High-quality whole milk preferred.
  • 3/4 cup sugar For the ice cream base.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Salted Caramel

  • 1 cup sugar For caramel preparation.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For caramel.
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt To taste.

Instructions
 

Make the Ice Cream Base

  • Whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Chill in the fridge for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare the Salted Caramel

  • In a saucepan, melt 1 cup of sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it turns golden brown.
  • Carefully stir in the butter, then slowly add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and sea salt.
  • Mix until smooth and glossy and allow it to cool slightly.

Churn & Swirl

  • Pour the chilled ice cream base into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Once thick, drizzle the cooled caramel over the ice cream and gently swirl with a spoon to create marbled effects.

Freeze & Enjoy

  • Transfer the salted caramel swirl ice cream into a suitable container.
  • Freeze for 4-6 hours before scooping into bowls.
  • Serve and enjoy this creamy caramel goodness!

Notes

Serve in elegant bowls or waffle cones. Drizzle additional salted caramel on top for an extra touch. Pairs wonderfully with brownies or pie.
