Ingredients
  

For the sandwich

  • 4 slices slices of bread of choice Use hearty bread like sourdough or whole grain.
  • 1 cup cooked spaghetti Any type of cooked spaghetti will do.
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce Spread generously on the bread.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to mix in other cheeses.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat your skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread marinara sauce on one side of each of two slices of bread.
  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
  • Pile cooked spaghetti over the cheese evenly.
  • Add the remaining mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti.
  • Top with the other two slices of bread, sauce side down.

Cooking

  • Place the sandwich in the heated skillet and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Serve hot and enjoy every gooey bite!

Notes

For best results, let the spaghetti cool a bit before adding it to prevent sogginess. You can add sautéed vegetables or cooked chicken for a personalized twist. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
