  • 1 cup milk Any type of milk can be used.
  • 2 pieces eggs Large eggs preferred.
  • as needed Wilton Gel Food Coloring (various colors) Use different colors for a vibrant effect.
  • to taste Butter (for topping) Melted butter enhances flavor.
  • to taste Syrup (for topping) Maple syrup works best.

Preparation

  • Start by heating your griddle to 350°F or place a frying pan over medium heat.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick pancake mix, milk, and eggs. Stir until the mixture is smooth, making sure to eliminate most lumps.
  • Divide your pancake batter into several small bowls. Add a few drops of Wilton Gel Food Coloring to each bowl, stirring until the colors come alive.
  • Transfer each colored batter into its own condiment bottle for easy pouring.

Cooking

  • Squeeze the colorful batter onto the hot griddle in different patterns.
  • Use a toothpick or knife to swirl the colors together, creating captivating designs.
  • Let the pancakes cook until bubbles form on the surface. Flip them over to cook the other side until golden.

Serving

  • Present your pancakes topped with butter and syrup or toppings of your choice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, use a toaster or microwave. If freezing, place in a single layer then transfer to a freezer bag for up to one month.
