Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough Center

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Brownie Batter

  • 1 box Boxed brownie mix Plus required eggs, oil, and water per package

Optional Serving Suggestions

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Chocolate or caramel drizzle
  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • Glass of cold milk or cup of coffee

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla extract and mix.
  • Gradually mix in flour and salt. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop cookie dough into 1-tablespoon balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15–20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Prepare brownie batter as directed on the box. Preheat oven as per instructions.
  • Grease a muffin tin. Spoon brownie batter halfway into each cavity. Place one frozen cookie dough ball in each. Cover with additional brownie batter.
  • Bake 20–25 minutes or until set and a toothpick inserted into the brownie comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Wrap each bomb tightly in plastic wrap and freeze in a zip-top bag for up to 3 months.
